My brother n law spends just about every penny he earns at the casino and sometimes spends his wife’s money there too. I really feel so bad for them and thats why i take charge of their children. I do get a little exausted though, especially because i have a 6 month old baby myself. Are they hurting their children?

Are you asking for an opinion or are you asking if it is some sort of abuse under the law?
of course they are. there in this spot due to their own hands. they wouldn’t be working two jobs and gone if they were responsible.
Watching a child while someone is a work is one thing. raising them is another.
If you care about the kids, maybe its time you say something. This is different than sticking your nose where it doenst belong. They have given their kids to you to raise basically.
of course, they will regret it someday
Why are you asking you know they are
