rabeatz asked: I’m 18 and I’m going on a trip to Reno in May. What are the gambling laws in Reno like? And how strongly are they enforced? If I wanted to use a slot machine or something would that be ok? I work at a restaurant and many customers think i’m 20-21.
By large amount - that means a jackpot? or $100? or what?

Dreez asked: I cant seem to find a definitive answer to my question.
Is it legal to own a sports betting website from within the U.S.
Say its hosted in the u.k. or Canada and only residents of those two countries are allowed to use it. No U.S. citizens would be allowed to use the website. Then would it still be illegal to live in the U.S. and operate a website like that from here.
Please don’t mention how theres to much competition in p2p betting, I know that but I still need to have this answered.
Thanks you to anyone who does answer it
Glen

Zac T asked: I recently heard about a couple in arizona that had a contest for their house. What they did was have an essay contest, but everybody that participated had to put in $100. 2500 people entered so they made 250k. I heard they had some legal issues involving gambling laws though (I’m pretty sure nothing came of it though) ..I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any way I can do this with my car and how I should go about it.

Dan D asked: I’m looking to run poker tournaments at a local gaming store. The tournaments will have a cash entry fee and the prizes will be points in an ongoing league. Once the league is over, the top players will receive an invitation to play in another tournament with a cash prize. This tournament will not have a cash entry fee. I believe this gets around gambling law because there is no fee for the cash prize tournament. The gaming store runs other types of tournaments with a cash entry fee and prizes for these are store credit or product. I know that this is allowed because there is no cash prizes. Is this correct and where can I find more information?
